Klee: Fleeing Sunlight

To all loli-lovers! Your second loli has arrived~

That's right, Klee has joined Qiqi in the loli roster on October 20 (Tuesday) and will stay till November 11.

Her banner features 4-stars Xingqiu, Sucrose and battle-maid Noelle at a higher rate.

Do remember to try her out in the trial dungeons!

Klee looks to be an explosive addition to the Pyro DPS roster, as she has to stay on-field to continue throwing out bombs and outputting damage.

Join us as we take a look at her talents and constellations, as well as budget and whale builds for our adorable red and burny knight!

Klee's normal attack allows her to throw 3 bombs in quick succession! There is a slight delay after her last bomb, so do remember to dash cancel or jump cancel to reposition.

Klee's charged attack showcases a AoE laser-like blast that costs 50 stamina.

The range is pretty short, so be careful when you use it!

Klee's elemental skill features her signature bouncy bomb, the Jumpty Dumpty! Having two charges with three bounces each, it enables Klee to have high burst damage and skill uptime.

Klee's burst, Sparks 'n' Splash brings in her motif - clovers! Klee in german translates to clovers, which are displayed predominantly in this display of pyrotechnics! It has an average cost of 60 energy, which allows for a frequent dose of walking explosions.

Pounding Surprise is unlocked at Ascension 1, which allows Klee to use charged attacks without consuming stamina, dealing heavy damage with little drawbacks.

Klee's Ascension 4 talent further builds on this, by allowing Klee to generate energy for the entire party when dealing criticals!

Klee also allows you to easily find Mondstadt-only resources, such as much needed Philanemo mushrooms, Valberries and Calla Lilies.

Constellation 1 increases Klee's overall damage, by adding in additional explosions!

Constellation 2 brings more damage as well as some utility to the team through decreasing enemy DEF.

Constellation 3 and 5 are generic increases in elemental skill level and burst, which provides a nice jump in damage output (but is otherwise boring!)

Constellation 4 generates a GIANT explosion that deals massive damage if Klee switches out during her elemental burst!

Constellation 6 provides huge energy regeneration for the other members of the party, as well as increases Pyro damage for the party! This allows Klee to possibly be used as a sub-DPS, buffing the other Pyro main-DPS by using her burst and other parts of her kit to regenerate energy for the entire party.

Remarks on Klee

In general, Klee is a solid DPS, if slightly clunky to play (my own opinions). Her elemental skill allows for a high rate of energy regeneration due to the multiple charges, which fuel her 60 energy burst even faster.

Her team utility is decent but limited, allowing her to regenerate some of her team's energy through charged crit attacks at Ascension 4.

Her important constellations come at C2 and C6, where C2 greatly increases her utility to team damage, providing one of the few decreases to enemy defense in the game, while C6 provides constant energy regeneration to the other members of the party while her burst is active!

Coming up next, we will be talking about which catalysts and artifact sets to use for Klee! Stay tuned~
